UPDATE FROM THE CHIEF - Effective January 1, 2016, the Texas Concealed Handgun law will be changing. If you have gone through the licensing process to carry a concealed hand gun, beginning January 1, 2016, you will be able to openly carry the weapon in a belt or shoulder holster.
