City Council Holiday Messages: Stephen Lara (full message)Regardless of the hardships, the challenges, the trials, and the errors. We should always strive to look for the better things in life. Knowing that as we near the end of each year, we celebrate thanksgiving to give thanks to those around us, thanks for the good things that are yet to come and most importantly, thanks for life. Knowing that there is a joyous culmination to each year as we draw closer to all those friends, family and loved ones we may have missed throughout the year or the memory of those we may have lost along the way. We should always look to be positive, regardless of promise that nothing last forever, any difficulties don’t last forever, any setbacks don’t last forever, we, don’t have forever. We should not dwell on negativity but lean on the good parts of life and enjoy what blessing we have, no matter how big or how small. A blessing in any sense is a blessing to those who need it most. My hope is that these words would be a blessing to those how need them. That you may find your blessing and lift it up in your life as I do everyday that I thank my Lord above for all that is promised to me and my family and that we continue to seek the best in life, people, and the community. Have a blessed holiday season and we pray that 2023 will bring added favor in your life and we as a community can grow stronger together. Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas and to a Happy New Year.
