COVID RELIEF TO SMALL BUSINESSES IN BALCONES HEIGHTS
The City of Balcones Heights has issued COVID small business relief grants to ten (10) local businesses. The City, through its Economic Development Fund, awarded individual grants of up to $2,500 based on applications each business submitted.
“We are so happy that we could help these businesses,” said Mayor Suzanne de Leon. It is important to note, Mayor de Leon added, that the list of businesses includes several who have been established in Balcones Heights for a long time, Float, Catering by Celebrations, Goomba’s Pizza, and several that are relative newcomers, including Boss Beauty Academy and Team Shark Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The following is a complete list of businesses that received grants totaling $20,000:
