The Finance Department is committed to maintaining the financial integrity and stability of the City while providing leadership and direction to City leaders and executives.
About the Department
The Finance department is responsible for financial planning, operations, and reporting. The offfice works closely with other City leaders and executives to develop the annual operating budget, meet strategic objectives, and propagate economic development.
Primary duties include internal controls, recording accounting and financial transactions, cash management, payment disbursements, receivables, fixed assets, investments, and manging debt.
The office also performs payroll and other related Human Resourse duties. Additionally, we work closely with our Information Technology provider to ensure security of City information.
