The FY 2019-20 budget process is underway.  The City will conduct two Public Hearings on the proposed budget and the proposed property tax rate on Monday, August 12 at 6 pm and Monday, August 26 at 6 pm at the Justice Center.

The proposed budget is conservatively crafted, addresses economic development, City services, and infrastructure.  The budget is balanced with estimated budget revenues of $9,178,301 and expenses are $8,876,901.

We currently propose no increase to the City’s property tax rate which is $0.583/$100 of property valuation.  The City also implemented a tax freeze this year for residents that are disabled and 65 years of age or older.
